At the end of April, Callies’ learners and colleagues bid a heartfelt farewell to one of our beloved teachers.
For 20 years, Mr. SP Botha kept everyone on their toes with his infectious energy and dedication — it was no small task to keep up with him.
Mr. Botha’s contribution extended far beyond the classroom. He not only excelled as a member of the school’s management team, but also distinguished himself as a coach, referee, and organiser of sport. His passion and commitment have left a lasting impression on learners and colleagues alike.
Although he will remain involved in rugby coaching, his presence is already missed — in the classroom, on the verandas, and in the staff room.
Callies wishes you every success on this new journey ahead. We are confident that, as with everything you undertake, you will make it a great success.
