Hoërskool Carletonville proudly extends its heartfelt congratulations to Lerato Lesenyego (Grade 8D) on her outstanding achievements in golf.
Lerato represents Central Gauteng as well as South African Kids Golf, where she continues to showcase exceptional talent and dedication at a national level.
During 2025, she participated in the prestigious Delta Junior Africa Challenge, held in April at the Stanbic Golf Club in Botswana. Competing against 170 players from 7 different countries, Lerato achieved an extraordinary 1st place overall — a remarkable accomplishment that reflects her discipline, determination, and skill.
Through her victory, she qualified to compete in Ireland. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, she was unable to participate in July. However, they remain hopeful and look forward to her participation in the Botswana tournament again this April.
In addition, Lerato competed in a SA Kids Golf tournament at the Krugersdorp Country Club, where she scored an excellent 86 and secured 1st place.
